Monday 25th December Xmas best wishes to all, Hope the year of 2018 is good to you Omega 10005 boar Tabac soap Schick Type F Schick Proline [ 1 ] Tabac A/S Lotion My first use of the Type F. Lovely feel in the hand and is manoeuvrable and shaves so smoothly. For me it is a bit on the mild side, and had to work quite hard to get a good quality all round finish.Bet it really suits those with a lighter beards, but I am pleased to have finally got one.  |

 Menthol Monday's Christmas ShaveProraso Pre Shave TSD Cool Lime Bunny B-3 Red and Black Micromatic Bullet Tip CVS SE CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Lucky Tiger Tried to get a little red going for Christmas but no blood. I also broke out my MMBT "birth era" razor for Jesus's birthday. Going to finish off the year with SE razors. I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The TSD Cool Lime Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Bunny B-3 Red and Black Badger brush. I did two passes with the Micromatic Bullet Tip with a CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... |

My congratulations to all you TOSTer's who are raising the bar on Christmas Day Shaves...Man, I think TOST is going to get the Pulitzer for best Holiday SOTD Thread this year!!!! }8^D My humble offering......Actually was quite special for me....My favorite razor for many deferent reasons is my Schick Hydro-magic....The only thing I would do to improve it if I could...Would be to make it a tad more aggressive. Well today was my first chance to try one of my new to me Schick Pro-line B-20s in it...GOAL!!!! Thats it! This I2 is now a BBS machine...and so smooth....These Pro-lines are like, Heaven sent...It's like time-warp back to the days of Personna 74s and Schick Plus Platinums... Christmas Day 2017 Hot water whisker rinse Barbasol Arctic Chill 1955-58 Schick Hydro-magic/Schick Pro-line B-20 d2 Thayer's Witch Hazel Clean Up Afta Classic for moisturizing, then a splash of vintage Old Spice Cologne Man...one of those life defining shaves! Well today was my first chance to try one of my new to me Schick Pro-line B-20s in it...GOAL!!!! Thats it! You took the words out of my mouth, I have had a chance to use the Proline B-20's a few times now on a vintage injector and the Modern SUPPLY injector - they feel like my vintage Personna 74's and usa made schick plus platinums from the mid 70's !! read : SHARP AS HELL!!!!!!!!!!! These razors are heaven sent, I do notice the ends Curve more so the blade does sit a TAD lower on the vintage injectors - if u do a side by side comparison you will notice - I think this actually gives the shave a tad more blade feel .... ------------Jamie |

Boxing Day- Tue 26th December RazoRock Syn.24mm P & B Spitfire PAL S/S Adjustable Schick Proline [ 3 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion Keeping the Shave simple over the Festive Period. Selected the PAL which is a favourite,when yo get one that functions properly they really perform well, and today the performance is enhanced by use of a Proline blade. The Shave in fact is so comfortable and easy, yet with a superb all round finish.I perhaps might not be exaggerating when i say it would give some of the modern S/S AC/SE razors a run for their money.  |

Christmas DayPre-Shave: Hot Shower Brush: 24mm Silvertip Frank Shaving (FS) Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat Razor: Black Hawk V2, RazoRock Blade: Kai Pink (1) Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and British Sterling Aftershave Photo:  Christmas Day I got new gear for Christmas. Mitchell's Wool Fat and a RazoRock Black Hawk V2. I now know why the Wool Fat is found in so many Dens in the wet shaving community. It really is a great soap that may take over Williams Wednesday and make it Wool Fat Wednesdays. Those of you that are crying out in pain now for the abuse of the Williams, fear not there is always Menthol Williams Monday. The Black Hawk shaves great. After a two pass shave I got a DFS. The light weight of the aluminium may be the only draw back. I am now looking for an appropriate replacement handle with a little more weight.
